One thing I've learned abut ballerinas is that they can never have too many bobby pins, leotards or pointe shoes.

The harder the work, the more of these things they acquire.

But for all the blood, sweat and tears they put into their art, I'd say they deserve to have a few pairs of beautiful shoes. Or a hundred.
